Hi, I’m Anita — the illustrator and daydreamer behind Brown Bunny Design, a little creative studio based in North London.

I don’t only draw bunnies! I’m a curious traveller and nature lover with a sketchbook full of dreams. I take inspiration from holidays, vintage storybooks, nature, the ocean, creatures and bugs, and the little surprises hidden in everyday life — the kind that bring out your inner child and spark a little joyful nostalgia. My work is all about capturing that feeling through playful, uplifting illustrations and beautifully crafted products that make people smile.

I work digitally as well as with pencils, watercolours and pens, keeping my designs textural, full of sentiment and rich with a hand-drawn feel.

I have a love of cute, cosy, story-filled design with a focus on emotional connection. I enjoy bringing characters and narratives to life through imaginative illustration, especially when there’s an unusual perspective, meaningful message, or sense of wonder at the heart of the story. One day, I’d love to illustrate a children's picture book, and you’ll find examples of my personal picture book and graphic novel projects here too.

Alongside creating my own range of art prints, stationery, greeting cards and illustrated gifts, I am also available for art licensing opportunities and creative collaborations. My artwork is particularly well suited to stationery, giftware, home décor, textiles, clothing, packaging and seasonal collections.

Through Brown Bunny Design, I create playful, heartfelt artwork for fellow wanderers, nature lovers and dreamers who value thoughtful, meaningful design and I’d love to explore new collaborations.
